Mountain Garrison Mission Statement

Hello, and welcome to the 501st Legion's Mountain Garrison. The Mountain Garrison is part of the 501st Stormtrooper Legion (www.501stlegion.org), the world's premier Star Wars costuming group. Spanning all 50 U.S. States and over 21 countries worldwide with nearly 5000 members; no matter where you live, chances are that the 501st presence can be felt. We are quickly dominating the planet and our numbers increase daily due to recruiting that is at an all time high. The Rebellion will soon be eliminated and peace will be restored back to earth.

The Mountain Garrison's terrain covers Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. The Garrison is active in many different ways from trooping at local events to helping children in need. Within the Mountain Garrison there are 4 squads, each responsible for keeping the region safe and clear of Rebel propaganda and the Rebellion itself.

The 4 Squads that comprise the Garrison are the:

Snowy Range Squad - Northern CO and WY
Mile High Squad - Denver metro area
Pikes Peak Squad - Southern CO
and
Dewback Ridge Squad - State of NM

Within these squads we have dedicated, incredible troopers who gather to assist with whatever requests that they can for the area.

Though as a Garrison, we share many common goals and interests (such as gathering together for the love of Star Wars, promoting events, escorting celebrities, or providing security for numerous conventions) our most important role is perhaps our desire to help our local communities through various works and contributions. When that work leads us to help children in need, we are all the more committed. The Mountain Garrison works closely with many children's charities throughout WY, CO and NM. One of the greatest satisfactions that a soldier of the Empire can experience is seeing a child smile. Whenever we can, we work very hard to create an atmosphere in which we can accomplish that mission.
